Brief History

The Support Network was founded in May 2003 when Brian and Lori Coffey wanted to help other families with newly diagnosed children following the diagnosis of their middle child, Emily, in 2001. The group started with about six families, but has grown to include over 45 families with more and more being diagnosed every day, including the Coffey's other two children who were diagnosed in 2006 (Matthew) and 2007 (Sarah).
